ABOUT
Gema's Child Care
Our Story
Gema’s Child Care was founded in 2005 in Copiague, New York, by Ms. Gema, a dedicated early childhood educator with a vision to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children could grow, learn, and thrive. Rooted in the values of family, community, and respect, her home-based childcare program quickly became a trusted space where children were celebrated and supported as future leaders.
As the program flourished, so did the dream. In 2021, Ms. Gema’s daughter, Mrs. Gaby a New York State Certified Teacher and passionate advocate for inclusive, high-quality early education expanded the legacy by opening a second location in West Babylon. Just one year later, in 2022, a third site was launched in Wyandanch, making Gema’s Child Care a growing multi-site program serving families across Long Island.
Today, Gema’s Child Care proudly operates with the same heart, dedication, and purpose it was founded on. We continue to provide a mixed-age, family-style program that honors the individuality of every child while promoting leadership, learning, and love.
